The beautiful 1900s Edwardian dress is made of cotton lace and trimmed with black silk velvet ribbon. The dress is see-through, and would have originally been worn over an opaque layer, possibly in contrasting fabric, e.g. ivory. The dress has a beautiful heavy skirt with geometric velvet trims, faced with silk and featuring ribbon ruching.
It has a low neckline and slightly puffy sleeves. It fastens at the back with metal poppers.
Very good condition, no visible signs of damage.
