Incredibly rare 1920s sleeveless beaded top / blouse in a style inspired by the Ballets Russes / Avant Garde designs.

The black silk chiffon blouse features wide shoulder straps, a square neck and a gathered peplum.

It fastens on the side under the left armpit with a row of tiny metal poppers and hooks.

The rare shape is clearly inspired by the theatrical costumes of the time and heavily influenced by the Art Deco style.

It’s covered with tiny glass beads in shimmering shades of navy blue, emerald green, dark red and deep pink, all hand stitched.

The blouse is in an amazing condition with very little signs of wear.

Here it is shown worn over a black slip dress.
